How It Works

Who can use these services?

Cancer warriors, survivors, and caregivers residing in Chelan, Douglas, Grant, or Okanogan County can become a Wellness Place client and utilize our services.

How much does it cost to use these services?

Wellness Place services are 100% free to Wellness Place clients.

How does one become a Wellness Place client?

Simply fill out a referral form! This may be submitted by the prospective client, their caregiver, or a member of their care team. Once submitted, the Wellness Place will confirm with the patient and/or care team to confirm they meet our qualifications. This contact may occur annually or as needed to maintain the client's status.

How many times can these services be utilized?

  • Comfort Care Kits are limited to one per client.

  • Clients can receive up to $200-$250 in gas cards from Wellness Place. This balance is set upon becoming a new client and renews annually.

  • Clients are also limited to 3 head coverings and 2 wigs per year.

All other services, including protein shakes, are free whenever needed as supplies last and do not count against a client's balance. It is at the Wellness Place's discretion to limit any services as needed to ensure there are enough for all clients.

What is a client's gas card balance?

Clients receiving care withing a 20-mile radius of Wenatchee start with a balance of $200. Clients receiving care outside of a 20-mile radius or in Palliative care start with a balance of $250. Balances are renewed annually. To confirm a balance, contact us.

How can a client get the items they need?

While we always like to meet our clients in-person, we also offer to mail requested items to your home or deliver them to your doctor to pick-up at your next appointment.
