A Matter of Balance

Many older adults experience concerns about falling and restrict their activities. A matter of balance is an award-winning program designed to manage falls and increase activity levels.

Restorative Yoga

Guided class of easy, gentle yoga (beginner) poses and meditative relaxation designed for cancer survivors, people living with illnesses, and caregivers. Classes are not dependent upon each other, so please feel free to join at any time. Please consult with your physician if you are presently undergoing any treatment for illness. No charge for attending. Moving to Wellness Place September 9th, 2019!

Stay Active and Independent for Life (S.A.I.L.)

Studies show the majority of hospitalizations of seniors are due to preventable falls. The Stay Active and Independent for Life (SAIL) program was developed specifically for our aging population. Join trained volunteer fitness instructors in a series of gentle yet effective exercises for seniors age 65 and older. The goal of the SAIL program is to increase strength, balance and mobility while decreasing the likelihood of falls.

Women Surviving Cancer- New Day and Time! Starting October 4th 2019!

This support group includes women facing treatment, persons currently receiving treatment and those people who have finished treatment.

Lymphoma/Leukemia Support Group

Date/Time: The third Thursday of each month 2:00pm-4:00pm

Ostomy Support Group

This support group offers education and support to individuals currently living with an ostomy. Learn from the educated facilitators, share life experiences, ask questions and even have the opportunity to learn about new products from various ostomy support representatives. Meetings are held quarterly at the Central Washington Hospital campus.

T.B.I. (Traumatic Brain Injury) and Stroke Support Group

Location: Confluence Health Sleep/Spine Clinc, 100 N Miller St in Conference Room, Wenatchee (map)

Beauty for a Day

Beauty For a Day is for women in various stages of their journey with Cancer and one guest. The women receive a manicure, chair massage, tips on makeup and a makeover and are fitted for a wig as well as treated to a delicious lunch. They also receive a gift bag as they leave.
