PAM BRULOTTE

"The cancer community brings you together and we are in a club, and I see Wellness Place as our clubhouse, where you can gather together, and you are not alone."
~Pam Brulotte, co-owner of Icicle Brewing Leavenworth and breast cancer survivor

To support Wellness Place and the cancer patients we serve, Pam Brulotte co-owner of Icicle Brewing Leavenworth, partnered with her long-time friend Shelly (owner of CLS Farms) to create the "1 in 8 Fresh Hop IPA” beer.  Both of these incredible women are breast cancer survivors and collaborated on this special brew, because 1 in 8 women will get breast cancer in their lifetime. Partial proceeds of this popular limited release were donated to Wellness Place. Click here to see more

SUZIE'S CLOSET

"Suzie Kiesz. Vibrant. Generous. Tireless. Involved. Loving. These are just a few words which describes Suzie. She was a generous spokesperson for others with a cancer diagnosis. She was kind to share information of how others could receive support through services at Wellness Place. We are grateful to have known Suzie. She had a need to be helpful and lift others up — and she certainly left her mark in our lives and hearts." ~ Erin Cass, loving friend of Suzie

Here at Wellness Place we are blessed to have a lovely room named Suzie's Closet. She was a grand supporter of Wellness Place and our mission, and passed away from cancer in 2018. Through many generous donations in her memory, we were able to transform one of rooms which is now called “Suzie’s Closet”. It is room painted in a cheerful color, and offers a private and comfortable refuge for those who come to Wellness Place for a wigs, head coverings, scarves and blankets.

In 2019 our 3rd Annual Legacy Award recipient was awarded posthumously honoring the memory of Suzie.
